It's about time I put some color back into this blog. I had been wanting to see this movie (Melancholia) for the past year or so, and I finally gave up on waiting for it to come to Springfield. I found a place to watch it online. (I was not supposed to watch this without Elsie. I suppose we will see if she's paying attention) This was nearly a week ago, and the movie still seems to be with me. In my humble opinion, it was a brilliant movie, and one that's hard to forget. These are some stills from the movie. Anyone see it? And is it just my foggy memory, or was Wagner's Tristan and Isolde the only music in the film?

Anyone else have anything to add to the list??

I'm waiting on the new Project Runway episode to pop up online. Anyone else watching this season? Anyone else think that one of the designers is possessed by the Devil himself? Just kidding. This season is pretty great so far.
I was extremely disappointed to find out (after hours of online searching) that "Never Let Me Go" will not be showing in Springfield or any surrounding areas. The trailer looks fascinating:
I was a little surprised to see that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a measly 54%. We seem to be hurting for some really great movies in Springfield right now. Another one Elsie and I are excited to see is "Somewhere". Here is the Trailer:
Am I missing something? We really wanted to go to the movies, but couldn't find a single thing we wanted to see. But we are open to suggestions. Thanks for reading.

I've been collecting movie stills for inspiration for new music. Here's a few from my collection:
I've just about finished that instrumental that I started reworking yesterday. I'm pretty proud of that one. It ended up being piano, viola, and cello. Oh, and my list is still getting smaller by the day. I've finished up two more things off of it in the last few days.

This is a video I did with Stacy DuPree and Darren King over Christmas. It was shot by my good friend Brandon Goodwin at my studio here in Springfield. It's a cover of a Fleetwood Mac song called "Silver Springs". I really love how it turned out.
I will be keeping this video at the top of the page for a few days, so make sure to scroll down to read new posts.
